Year In Review, 2005
Jan. - Well the New Year started off very badly with me in having a horrible New Year’s Eve night with a “nutcase” and her friend and the next day I got really drunk with a very good friend, but due to some chemicals in my system, I don’t really remember much from that night, just the fact that I got really sick because of it and lost a very close friend.
Feb. – I went back to Labrador for a week to spend some time with the family because I didn’t get the chance to over the previous Christmas holidays. First time home without having my old dog Nikki there, but took back a lot of memorabilia to keep the memories close by.
Mar. – “6 Years Represent” came into affect when one of my closest friends at Acadia came to visit me during the St. Paddy’s Day week. Slimmy and I partied up George St. like it was the Axe all over again. We also met some girls at O’Reiley’s and now one of them named Lee-Ann is good friend of mine. Many people think we’re a lot alike, I just think we like to drink and have fun.
Apr. – I moved out of my old place on Hunts Pl. to where I am right now on Drake Cres. on my birthday. I do miss my old roommates where Holly and David are great people, but I can’t complain living with such a good friend in Tammy and an entertaining one named Angela.
May – I met an amazing girl at work name Tiffany and have been dating her ever since. My friend Stephanie told me I stopped being contrary ever since. It all started at a birthday party of Tiffany’s good friend Andrea (really good person in heart and great connection for clothing at Randy River) and a fun night downtown at O’Reiley’s. Then on the 15th, it came official at the Tea Party concert. My favorite line from that night from Tiffany would be, “I am wearing my boyfriend’s hat”.
Jun. – There were many late nights downtown getting to know Tiffany better and some nights at her old apartment, until she moved into her new place with her mother and two brothers. Also in June is when Tammy’s twin sister moved in with her husband and kid, which led to a full house, but lots of fun. On the 23rd, it was Tammy’s and Tara’s birthday and we went out for supper and pool later on.
Jul. – My younger brother Leon came for a visit. It was one week full of drinking and it was great having the younger, but richer brother in town. As a result, there were a few nights downtown and a lot of eating out where Leon doesn’t get that chance at home in Churchill Falls.
Aug. – Shannon Boland moved in where her and her old roommate were having lots of problems. Her friend Diana that was going on a trip to Europe stopped by as well and that led to a lot of good times as well. My friend Jay from Acadia came in for work and that weekend was George St. festival, so it was good timing on his part, that’s for sure. Then Tiffany and I visited Grand Bank (her old home) for Grand Bank Day and went to many sights around the “Boot”. We ended that month in having “Big BBQ 3” at our place and said good-byes to many great friends like Shannon, Katie, and of course Amy. Work has never been the same.
Sep. – My parents came to visit and it was great seeing them where I only see them usually once or twice a year now. They got to meet Tiffany for the first time and loved her like I thought they would. Tiffany started fast-track nursing at MUN and a week into that, we went on a camping trip to LaManche and had an amazing weekend. The end of the month, I got to see my two of my favorite bands and they are Our Lady Peace and PEARL JAM!!!!!
Oct. – I got to see an other one of my favorite bands and that was Collective Soul. By my side of course during all these concerts was Tiffany, which made them 100 times better. At the end of that month, I got to see two of my best friends from Acadia during AUGC (Atlantic University Geology Conference). Teri and Jill B. were in town and we made the best of the short time that they were here. Mardi Gras was also going on that weekend and the geology crew showed me what I missed most from Acadia and that was having a good time with rocks and drinks.
Nov. – The most important event I can think of for November is experiencing Tiffany’s and I 6 month-a-versary (half anniversary) and knowing how long we lasted at that point brings a huge smile to my face. What brings a bigger smile to my face knows it’s just going to get better with us.
Dec. – Well this month was a perfect ending to a great year for me. Most of it is mentioned in the previous blog, so I will keep this part short. Simply put, I had a great Christmas with Tiffany and then with my family at home in Churchill Falls.
So what is there to look forward to in the year of 2006? Well I can guaranteed that it will be a whole lot better than 2005 knowing I will bringing in the new year with good friends by my side and with an amazing girlfriend name Tiffany. Other than that, we’ll have to wait and see.
Happy New Years Everyone!!!!!

Merry Christmas!!!!!
So it is the Holiday Season and I have to say this Season is going to be one of the most rememorable one yet. It is a combination of having an amazing girlfriend to spend most of it with and the Christmas Suprise in coming back to Churchill Falls to suprise my parents and spend a few days with them because I didn't get the chance last year. I have been off work since Tuesday when I VGHed (volunteery go home) and going back to my secondary home (St. John's) on Boxing Day.
So what have I been up to on my Christmas Vacation..... Well, first of spending as much time with my girlfriend before flying back to Labrador and whatever we did, it was always great having her thier by my side. I love that girl. I think I already mentioned that part though. So Tuesday night, the R & M (Repair & Maintenance) Department with work went to Don Cherry's for some grub and drinks. It was lots of fun actually and the food was really amazing and Candice (my Team Leader) got a few gifts from the gang and she loved it. She has been a great Team Leader, so she deserved it, that's for sure. I made her a duck out of a fork. Don't ask, it was something I learned at University. Extra bonus that night, was that Tiffany got to have some of her Stella. For who that doesn't know Stella, it's Tiffany's girl, hehehehehe..... So Wednesday, I dropped Tiffany off to her house and went back to the house to do some cleaning. I pretty much done that until Tiffany got off work. I made supper that night for the two of us and it was some spaghetti and it came out really well, very yummie stuff. After we ate, went to Aunt Wanda's to drop off some gifts and spent some time with them and played with Logan. I know one thing this year that will be different from the last, Logan is going to love opening his gifts this year. It's amazing in how much he grew up. Afterwards, Tiffany and I came back home and chilled. So Thursday was a busy day because it was the day before I left to go home for Christmas. I dropped Tiffany off to work and went to the mall to pass some time away and an hour into that I got a call from Tiffany, stating that she was done for the day and when that happened, I was so happy. So I go to spend the whole day with her before I left. So we went back to the mall so she could finish up her Christmas shopping. Then we went back home for a few hours to relax and eat some Mary Brown's and it was really good that day. Then we went to Dominion and bought some beer for the Boxing Day party. Then we had to go back to Aunt Wanda's because the day before I forgot to pick up a present for myself and to drop off a pie to Craig. That night, before supper Tiffany and I agreed to exchange our gifts. It may of started because I was begging her to do so, hehehehehe..... I was really happy to know she loved her gifts and cried when reading her card I gave her. I loved her gifts as well, she got me some underwear (funny story behind that), Eminem CD, Fantastic Four DVD, and a picture frame/album engraved from Things Engraved, in which I loved and will be filling it, when I get back to St. John's. So then we had an "appetizer/desert" before supper and for supper we had caribou sausgaes, croquettes, and a salad. When making supper, I packed my bags so I could have that ready for the flight. When we were eating, we watched the Charlie Brown's Christmas Specail (one of the gifts I bought Tiffany) and then watched the Fantastic Four. After that, we pretty much slept and it is always amazing to have her in my arms throughout the night. Missing that right now.
So right now I am back in Labrador and flew here yesterday. The flight was good, the only retared part of it was that we went to Goose bay and then Wabush, while flying over Churchill Falls, and then back to Churchill Falls, make sense? In Wabush, I decided to suprise an other important person in my life and former roomate back at Acadia and that was Maresa. I had a half an hour stop over, so I decided to call her and she came up to spend a few minutes with me and it was great seeing her again. Such a good friend. I promise I'll see you again. Then when I got back to Churchill Falls, Leon and I did a few grocery shopping before my parents got home from thier visit to Goose Bay for father's medical. They got the biggest suprise ever when I walked upstairs. Mother had no clue and dad had a funny feeling, but wasn't sure. It was great though. So afterweards, Leon and I went down to the ski hill and did some snowboarding and snowblading. Which was fun. For the rest of the night, I spent it home and with the family.
So I have the rest of the time here to have a good time and can't wait for Boxing Day night, when I fly back and spend time with Tiffany and friends. Shannon will be there and I haven't seen her since the summer and supposively she has a gift for me, so that's great news. Andrea, a girl from Randy River and a good friend of Tiff's will be there and she has not been anything less of a good friend to me as well and greatly aprreciated her advise, when I needed it. Either way, Tiffany will be there and that's a good enough reason if you look at it that way.
Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!!
Peace Out, C-Unit

December Starts Out Great
Well December just started and it's the last month of the year and it looks like it'll be a great ending to the year of 2005 in how things are going in my life right now. I never felt so happy before and I love it. Knowing I have great friends that never gave up on me when things were rough was greatly appreciated. My family has always been supportive of me, even if sometimes they never understood me, but they are parents and the usually comes with the territory. I think I am forgetting Something.....Someone.....That turned my life upside down and her name would be Tiffany. Sorry Babes for the suspense, but I just had to leave the best for last. I can't asked for a better girlfriend right now and if she reads this (and I know she will), I love you very much!!!!! I really don't have to get into what she has done for me because if you do actually read my bloc, you'll know. Also, you would see it in my smile and most of my friends tell me the best feature about me is my smile, so thanks Tiffa for bringing it back.
So lets start off from the past week. Wednesday night, after work, I picked up Tiffany from her work and it was the first time I seen her in days, so I was so excited just to spend sometime with her and we stayed up talking for hours, until we fell asleep. Thursday morning, we went out for breakfast and I had to work, but left earlier because I wasn't feeling well. However, a few hours later I went to Dooley's to meet up with Tiffany once again and met some of her nursing classmates. I already knew Lara, Tara, and Anny, so it was great to see them again. The others was very nice also and I think they'll all make great nurses. So Friday morning, I started Christmas shopping and shopping for my family was easy because I pretty much knew what to get them, but Tiffany was certainly a challenge. So Friday, I went from Water St., Stavanger Dr., Village Mall, and Avalon Mall and still had no clue what to get her, but had a lot of ideas. See, who ever says shopping for women is easy, LIES!!! See I knew Tiffany would of liked pretty much anything I gave her, but looking for the special gift/gifts to get her for our first Christmas together was hard. However, I think I got the perfect items and hope she loves it. Technically I got them on Saturday, so I spent two long days looking, but when she opens them on December 22nd, I am sure the effort will be worth it. Back to Friday though, that night was Tiffany's good friend Stephanie's birthday. First we went to Mama Soula's for supper and the food was great. Then back to Stephanie's place where the girls had a few shots of Sour puss, while Shannon and I watched some tv. Then the night got interesting when we went downtown to O'Reiley's where Shannon, Stephanie, and Charlotte got a little too drunk. Just say at the end of the night, the sexual tension was that high from all the "sex on the beaches" and "blow jobs", even Charlotte couldn't keep her mouth shut during the car ride home. I was pretty quiet, but I was just soaking it all in. Designated Drive is something I don't do much, but I still had fun. So at this part of the weekend is where my girlfriend Tiffany said the weekend ended in her blog, but I think I proved her otherwised. Last night, I picked her up because she was studying and we watched a movie and relaxed. The movie was "Polar Express" and it was a really good movie. Even Tiffany said so and she really didn't want to see it at first and she also admitted she cried a few times as well, hehehe... WOW!!! That just popped in there for some reason, but I don't know why? Hmmmmm.....I think someone does though. So this morning, Tiffany and I woke up and went to the mall again for a little shopping and a haircut. No more "wings", hahaha..... Then I played pool tonight and did very well and it looks like I got a new pool cue, thanks to Mudder.
Christmas is just coming around the corner and I am really looking forward to it. Last year, I was alone and was away from home for the first Christmas ever and it was hard. I am definitely in the Holiday mood this year though. I already got my little Christmas tree out and got lights around my room, shopping is pretty much done, and this Friday is the Christmas party for work. Should be lots of fun.
That's it for now,
Corey
P.S. Before I forget, a few postings back (the survey thingy), I forgot to mention a close friend of mine that I miss very much. So yes, I miss you to Amy, my partner of crime from Covergys. Happy now?

November Brings 6 Months!!!!!
So it has been like two months since I actually typed up a new posting in my blog. I know I did that survey thing that came from Tiffany’s blog last week, but haven’t really talked about how my life is doing in a while. Since September, a lot of things have happened, so here’s a brief update on the month of October first:
At the beginning of October, Tiffany and I went to my first cousins Logan’s first birthday party. He wasn’t too happy at first, until he got to unwrap his gifts and had a lot of new toys to play with. Even though there were babies all over the place, it was great being there because I have watched him grow up since he was born. I also got to see another cousin of mine for the first time and she was adorable. Aunt Wanda and Craig became a close part of my family over the past year and they have done so much for me and greatly appreciated of course. About a week later was Tiffany’s friend Jeff’s birthday party. That was a lot of fun and I was pretty drunk that night. I even offered a girl $100.00 for a hat, but she never did sell it to me. Tiffany had a lot of fun taking picture of the drunks that night. A few days later was Collective Soul’s concert and I have to say it was great and they put on a great show, even though the crowd was not to big. Tiffany and I were 5 rows back and right in the middle, so we had a great view. At the end of October, AUGC came to MUN. I have to say I didn’t expect to have such a great time there, but I was so happy to see old friends again. Teri and Jill are my closest geology friends I have and to see them and hang out is something I miss. So I spent as much time with them when they were here and got to meet a few new friends from Acadia. Mardi Gras was also that weekend and I went down that Saturday night and Ryan and I got loaded and by the end of the night watching strippers. For me, I left after 5 – 10 minutes, but Ryan stayed till the end because it was his first time in one. So that was October in a nutshell.
So now we’re in the month of November. The most important event I see that happened this month was Tiffany’s and I 6 month-a-versary (or half an anniversary). Imagine, half a year now we have been going out and it keeps getting better and stronger with us. I never imagined that I would of found someone as amazing as her to be with me. So as you can imagine, I am very happy to have her in my life and Stephanie (Little One) would probably say that the contrariness stopped since I met her. I am very much in love as people do see when I talk about her or see us together. Time seems to be going so fast, but it always do when you are having fun. A few weekends ago, Tiffany’s friend Stephanie (to many Stephanie’s in my life) had a get together for a few drinks at her place and then we head downtown to O’Reiley’s to watch the Navigator’s play. That night I got to meet one of Tiffany’s friends Annie from nursing and she was a very nice person and hope we showed her a good time. Maybe something else could of came out of that night, but maybe next time at Stephanie’s birthday party next week. That weekend, Tiffany and I went to Bowring Park for a walk and fed the ducks there. It was a lot of fun and the ducks surrounded us when we fed them.
So you can see that things right now is still good. Even work is looking up because I might be getting earlier shifts soon and that means I would have more time in the evening to do more stuff. I still got Christmas shopping to do and a few others thing to do for December, but I’ll try and update this blog as much as possible over the holiday season.
That’s it for now,
Corey
P.S. Pictures gets updated on my MSN Space.

September Ends, October Begins
At the beginning of October, my little cousin Logan experience his first birthday and it was good to be there because I have watched him grow up so far since he has been born. There were many kids there, including an other little cousin of mine that I got to meet for the first time and she was so cute as well. I think it just proves that all the babies in my family are cute. Logan wasn't very happy at first, but when he got to open his presents, he seemed to smile a lot more. Poor Aunt Wanda though with all those toys that make noises, hahaha..... Shortly after that I went through a sickness that I still kind of have and fighting to get rid of it. I don't know how many boxes of tissues I went through and restless nights from coughing, but I really hope I get well soon. October was also the month that Tiff and I experienced our 5 month-a-versary where Tiffany had to pick what to do. We went to Klondike Jakes, which was the first time for me, but the food was excellent. Then we went to her friend's Jeff's birthday party and I got LOADED!!!!! I had three beers and a flask of whiskey with Pepsi and offered a girl $100.00 for a hat. You know that leads to a fun night, but for now on, I am sticking to my beers. Then comes tonight..... I got off work earlier than usual and picked up Tiffany to go see Collective Soul. There wasn't a big crowd there, but the ones that were there loved the show. They played most of their classics and some of their new hits. I think I was smiling the whole night and being in the 5th row (in the middle) definitely helped and having my arm around my loved one of course.
So what is there left to come in October? Well I got this weekend off, but no plans so far. However, next weekend, there are so many choices. There is AUGC, Mardi Gras, Halloween, and so on going on, but not sure what I'll be up too. Hopefully I'll get to spend sometime with some great ol' friends though from Acadia. I love them lots and can't wait to see them.
Well, it's getting late here, so I should probably wrap this up and head to bed. Who ever reads my blog, sorry for the wait, but I hope you enjoyed.
Peace Out!!!!!

September, Long Time In The Running
When the summer came to the end, I did not really know what to expect for the fall where the summer went so amazingly. The main reason that the summer went so amazingly is because I had a very special person to spend it with and my major fear was losing her. See, after Labor Day weekend, Tiffany was going back to school doing Nursing (fast track, two year program) and the course load for that program is pretty high. In addition, work decided to put me on late shifts from 5:00pm to 1:30am and at first I thought that I wouldn't get to spend much time with her, but she has proven me otherwise. We pretty much work around each other's schedules, even to spend like an hour or so together for breakfast or lunch during the week which is always nice because we enjoy each other's presence. She'll even study when I am around and I don't distract her as much, because I definitely understand what university is like, specially after spending 6 years at Acadia. Some may say that I didn't really study much though, but I do have a Bachelor of Sciences in Geology and a Minor in Physics, so I must of done something right. I must of done something right with Tiffany as well in how great things are going there. We both agree that our previous relationships has nothing compared to ours and definitely in LOVE like no other. So my fear of losing her when the fall came is not there anymore because we really care for each other and willing to conquer all the challenges that are thrown at us together. It's pretty easy to see that things are great in the love portion of my life. Thanks Tiff!!!
So might as well start at the beginning of the month, around Labor Day weekend, where my parents came to visit and they took along my grandmother Pye as well. It was very nerve-wrecking for Tiffany because she never met them before and she just wanted them to like her as much as myself and Leon do. By the time that they left, they seen how happy I was with her and every time I talk to them on the phone now, they keep asking how she is doing. It was really nice to see the folks because I only get to see them once or twice a year now. I was only off one day that they were here, but I worked late and got up early just to spend time with them. They bought me groceries (that I am still living off) and clothes from the Randy River (thanks Andrea for your discount). They took Tiff and I out to a few restaurants as well, the biggest one being the Keg. I heard mix feelings about that place, but my experience there was that the food was GREAT!!! However, no meal could compare to the turkey dinner that Mudder cooked up the day before they left and I am sure Tiff can agree with that. Other than going to the stores and restaurants with them, we went to Cape Spear as well. My parents are great and hopefully I'll get to see them for Christmas this year.
The weekend after that was a long-weekend for me, so Tiff and I decided to go camping. Everyone thought we were nuts because of the time of year it was, but a weekend alone with her, doing something I love topped all charts of the favorite things I've done since I got to Newfoundland. That Friday, it was beautiful out, so I got things packed up and ready to go, while Tiffany went to school. After that, we drove to La Manche Provincial Park and found a camping site. When we found the camping site we liked, the fun started with putting up the tent and setting up the camping area so if it rained, we still could cook. I don't know who it was, but someone kept trying to distract me from doing so, but I got everything done before it got dark. That night we had a small fire and roasted some wieners and hit the sack early. We kind of slept in on Saturday, which was nice. When I was cooking breakfast that morning, a quick thunderstorm hit us and lucky for my set-up, we were still dry and was able to eat. After cleaning up, we went to a place called Ferryland to see the Avalon Colony, which is probably the oldest archaeological site in North America and I thought it was amazing there. We also took a hike to the lighthouse and spent a few ours there enjoying the sites. Then we drove to Renews so I could take a picture of myself by the sign for my friend Katie that is from there and now in Alberta (something to make her smile). On the way back to the campsite, we stopped into this restaurant, where Tiffany said they had the best French fries, with dressing and gravy and it was definitely good stuff. Before heading back to the campsite though, I decided we should take the hike to La Manche Village and Doctor's Cove. Beautiful scenery all over the place and I think my favorite part was the bridge going across the river, into the bay. That night, we had the best meal ever with steak (marinated for two days), potatoes (my special way), and onions and mushrooms as well. Tiffany will agree it was the best tasting steak ever. That night we relaxed in front of the fire because it rained all night and eventually slept and woke up to more rain. Sunday morning, when the rained died down, we packed up and headed back to St. John's where it was even grosser out. Tiffany felt sick, so she came home with me, where I cooked her some Corey's home remedy chicken and she seemed to feel better after that, so I was happy. So that was the long weekend in short format because if I told you everything that went on, I might as well write a book.
September 15th came around and that was myself and Tiffany's 4th month-a-versary. Tiffany had to go to school that day and I had to work, so we decided to go out the Bagel Cafe downtown for breakfast because they have the best hashbrowns. I surprised her that morning with a bouquet with many colorful flowers. See, I didn't want to get her roses because everyone does that and I wanted to be original for her and she loved them. Many of you may seen her display picture with them. Even though we didn't get to spend much time with each other that day, each month just keeps getting better and better.
This paragraph has special thanks to my brother Leon than got me tickets to the Molson Canadian Rocks Live Concert to see Our Lady Peace. K-Os was suppose to be there, but dropped out again, so Fuck You K-Os. So on September 17th, around 9:00pm NST, Our Lady Peace came on stage and the crowd went wild. One of the reasons that Tiffany and I had to get out of it because it really wasn't safe and I ended up hurting my shoulder and upper-back. However, the pain was well worth it because Our Lady Peace put on an awesome show and I called the bro the next day to thank him because of it. I didn't drink at the concert because the night before, I was at Stephanie's party and downtown where a bucket on top of my head became a waste bucket at the end of the night. You can say I was a little hungover by the end of the night, but if you are thinking I was the one that got sick, think again. Fun times for sure though and meeting Tiffany's friends from school was a pleasure and they were a lot of fun to be around and hope they don't think I am a nutcase, hehehe...
September 21st was the day I purchased two tickets to see an other one of my favorite bands, Collective Soul, which are playing on October 17th, 8:00pm NST. That was a great morning because I got up really early in the morning to spend time with Tiffany before she had to go to school and she made me some of her spicy scrambled eggs with turkey bacon (really good) and toast. My stomach wasn't feeling so well when I woke up that morning, but after I ate that, I felt a lot better. So after the breakfast, I went online and purchased 2 floor tickets, Row E, Seats 21 and 22 for myself and my Babes. I can't wait.
September 24th, PEARL JAM, PEARL JAM, PEARL JAM, PEARL JAM, PEARL JAM, my favorite band of all time came to St. John's, Newfoundland. It was the best concert I ever seen and I went with my roomie Tammy and her boyfriend Jason and of course Tiffany. It's funny though because we bought those tickets way back in May, not knowing how things would work out for us while we were only on our first month of dating. However, after that night, I wouldn't imagine seeing Pearl Jam with anyone else next to my side. The concert started at 7:00pm and ended at 11:00pm NST and the band did two encores which was great. To put "icing on the cake", they played my favorite song last which is "Yellow Leadbetter". There was a few video clips taken from my digital camera and pictures as well. More likely posted by this time on my MSN Space. I even called my bro to let him listen to them live as well because he always misses out living at home and all. He does so much for me, so I had to give something in return, so I also bought him a toque. So yeah, I got the t-shirt, hehehe... I couldn't stop standing and clapping the whole night and when the night ended, PEARL JAM WAS BY FAR A DREAM COMING TRUE FOR ME.
Even though September is not yet over, I don't think I can end this blog with anything bigger than Pearl Jam. So my life on the Rock went from rock-bottom to what it is now and what it is, great. From how things are going right now, I can see my future getting even better, with my girl next to my side. Tiffany is the love of my life and I will always be there for her for whatever, whenever, and wherever she may be. October is coming soon and so far it contains Collective Soul, Mardi Gras, Halloween, and AUGC. However, will it compare to September? Wait and see.
Peace Out, R O C D O'double C

Best Memories Of The Summer
1. Moving in with Tammy on my birthday. She let me move in early and we had fun that day with the U-Hall truck and that night, it was nice to have close friends by.
2. In the beginning of May, I had a girl named Teri-Lynn (which I kissed because of this) tell me a girl in her training class liked me and her name was Tiffany. Then my friend Shannon invited me to her's friend birthday party where Tiffany would be attending.
3. Andrea's birthday is where there was a lucky penny flipped in the decision to go downtown with me or not for Tiffany (just say I still have the penny). First night at O'Reiley's was a blast.
4. May 15, Tea Party Concert is where Tiffany and I became an official couple. Tammy's boyfriend Jason tried to get her to come home with me, but did not work.
5. When Tiffany was living at her old place, there was many fun nights of drinking and dancing downtown. Never met a girl that could drink as she could, but still won't go drink for drink with the Master.
6. At Tiffany's friend Brewer's birthday party, I got to know Andrea and Kelly better and they both work at Randy River and Andrea has been great to me ever since when I go shopping. I think I kissed her that night also and becamce "Tequila Sunday".
7. There were three BBQ's held at Tammy's house and everyone of them I cooked the food to my perfection and the rest of the night, let the food soak up all the alcohol that I consumed at the time. Lots of pics as well.
8. The first hike of the summer with Katie was a blast. We were a bit out of shape, but it was beatiful when we got on top of Fort Amherst.
9. Road trips around the local area with Tiffany has been great and seeing all the beautiful scenery that I never knew existed was great as well.
10. Having Tammy's sister Tara and her family move in was fun as well. I got to see her baby girl every morning and play around with her before work (miss them not around).
11. My brother Leon came down for a visit and some of the nights are a blur because of all the drinking we did and thanks to the bro for leaving me some beer. Fun times for sure and glad everything is ok with him right now. Couldn't ask for a better brother.
12. Saving all that work done on my car because of Jason, total appreciation there.
13. Around George Street Festival, Shannon moved in with her friend for a few weeks and Jay came down for work that weekend and that was fun as well. Always good to see old friends from Acadia, 6 Years Represent!!!!!!
14. Trip to Grand Bank was amazing, but I am glad Tiffany was asleep for most of the drive because she would of been nervous I bet, hehehe..... Trip back to the "Boot" and I seen so many sites that I'll never forget and hopefully see in the future. Met Tiffany's friend Jill in which we've become good friends over this and Messenger.
15. Hike to Deadman's bay. Just enjoyed the whole afternoon alone on the beach, with a fire and waterfall in the background with Tiffany. A total relaxing day.
16. Spending time with my little cousin Logan in Paradise. The kid has been growing so much since I first held the baby in my arms. If I was to have kids, you know it's going to be cute.
17. I can't even count how many more amazing moments I had with Tiffany throughout this summer because every moment I spent with her felt amazing. Thanks Tiffany, you mean so much to me (so this list can continue further).
Things to look foward to:
1. Parents are coming tomorrow. I get to see them once or twice a year now, so anytime spent with them is always nice.
2. Camping trip to LaManche during my next weekend off with Tiffany.
3. PEARL JAM!!!!!
So my life has totally changed around this summer and I can't believe it. I'll definately charish every great moment I had and the new people that came into my life.

A Perfect Ending, To A Great Summer
I know technically it is not the last weekend of the summer, but it was the last one I had off because of work and the last one I got to spend with Tiffany, until she goes back to school. However, we definately made the best of it. Friday night, I was working, but Tiffany went out with her friend from home Stephanie and a girl from work Courtney to downtown for a few drinks. Just say, from the shape she was in the next day, she must of had a good time. Stephanie seems like a great person and definately a great friend of Tiffany's. Courtney is a sweetheart and doing nursing with Tiffany in the fall. Nurse Hardy and Nurse Labour, hehehe... So Saturday morning, I slept through my alarm, but the second I got a call, I got up and got ready for a hike. We decided to go on a hike to Deadman's Bay, and it was great. The overall hike wasn't to long and the hardest part is going down the slope to the bay. When we got there, there was a beach with large rounded rocks, a small waterfall, and a beautiful view of the rocks around and wildilfe. Just say it was just the two of us for the whole afternoon. We had a fire going and cooked food with it and relaxed in front of it. I stood under the waterfall a few times, the water was freezing, but refreshing. There was one point where Tiffany napped on a piece of wood, while I wondered around looking at rocks. Still a geologist by heart. So just say the whole hike was great and lots of fun... After the hike, we washed up and went to a few stores before we went to the movies. We went to see Four Brothers and I thought that was excelent. Just say that night, it didn't take long to get to sleep. Sunday morning, Tiffany and I slept in again, hehehe... Seems to be a pattern here. We went to my Aunt's for the afternoon to spend time with the family and play with my little cousin Logan. He keeps growing, but he's adorable still. So they cooked us a Sunday dinner, which was great and I got some of my partridgeberry pudding. The name of that food could be decieving, but it is not desert, it goes with the main meal. Tiffany liked it also. After that, on the way home, we stopped at Chapters for a bit. However, when we got home, we were restless, so we decided to go to the flea market at the mall and that was the first time I was there and I bought a expansion pack for my N64 that I spent over two years looking for and it was still in the original package (I guess that means my N64 might have to be sent down now). Then we came home and watched Cellular and then went to bed. Then you know the rest.
So it was an non-stop, action filled weekend (more than what was mention ;)). I couldn't of asked for a better weekend though, it seemed like everything we did, we were on the same wave length. Techncally she was suppose to work yesterday, but I am glad she didn't. As you can imagine, everything is still as great as we started or even greater. I love that girl :D
So we ended off the summer with a bang...or a few. If you asked me, back in April, if I would of imagine a summer like this, I probably would of laughed in your face. However, now where it all happened, I look back and see the best summer I ever had. Mainly thanks to Tiffany, but so much more in how everything came together. Smiles all around.
P.S. Couldn't ruin the this blog in mentioning work...

Feeling Uncomfortable...
Yesterday was my day off and one of the plans for the day off was go to the Geo Center with Tiffany and her friends Alfred and Robyn, but I backed out in the last second. As you can imagine Tiffany was upset over the situation because Alfred is a good friend of hers and he wanted to meet me. For some reason I felt really uncomfortable meeting him and I didn't know why. It's not only him I was uncomfortable around, she has one large group of friends, with one part of them I feel the same towards as well.
So I went to a friend of mine that I spent four years with and because of that, knows me very well. It made me realise one thing about my relationship with Tiffany and the fact that it's a totally new experience with me. What do I mean by that you might ask? Well my past few relationships, it seemed like it all started the same way and ended the same way. So dating a girl that dated two guys in the same group made me a little insecure at first and still do to be honest with you. I don't think I can handle hanging out with my girlfriend's ex's. The reasoning for that is that knowing at one point of her life she felt something towards them as well. In addition, I didn't feel like I belonged in that group when I was around and that's fine with me. It's definately going to take some getting use to, but I'll never tell Tiffany in who her friends are. So Alfred, if you read this by chance, I am sorry for not giving you a chance, I was just totally nervous about the whole situation, but next time (if there is a next time) I will try my best to meet you.
Here are two comments that Lish told me which helped a lot with this situation:
- "but at least you know that she is not withthem and she is with you and there is a reason for that"
- "you both care alot for each other, so loosen up and have fun ‘cause really you shouldn’t even care that anyone else exists, just that you’re there and she’s there and that you’re there together and that’s what you both want"
Tiffany and I started out great, it might of been due to a flip of a penny (which I still have) or the fact it was meant to happen. We just spent an amazing summer together and at first I was worried about the fall, but she convinced me otherwise in showing how she feels as well. Last night proved that it's going to take a lot to break this relationship where the connection is so strong. I know I said I was sorry yesterday Tiffany, but I am saying it again and if I get an other chance to meet Alfred, I'll try to relax and be there with you this time. However, I still not sure about next Friday, but hopefully you understand more at this moment.
I don't know who reads my blog, but whoever does, there is one thing I like for you all to know, I Love this girl and it's going to take a lot to prove me otherwise :D.

Over A Month Later...
Lets start with work, so I can comment on it and leave it as is. The last email was about all that overtime I did that one week and I thought after that I would never do overtime again. However, Convergys decided to bring some incentives because there wasn't enough people signing up for overtime where we are pretty much sort staff. The incentives was that if you work two hours overtime during the week, they would give you a $20.00 gift certificate to either Tim Horton's, Sobey's, Wal-Mart, and Future Shop. Also, if you worked 24 hours of overtime in the month of July, they would give you two days of with pay. Just to cut this portion short, I will have my two days off and will be getting $260.00 worth of gift certificates to Future Shop on August twentieth (getting a nice MP3 player). Oh yeah, the best thing is, you still get paid time and a half for doing overtime as well. Other than that, work is the same old stuff.
Now there has been a lot of things happening in the last month. My brother Leon came down at the beginning of the month of July for almost two weeks and it was definitely a good time. I don't get to see him very often during the year, so having him here for a few weeks was great. We went drinking about one or two or three or who knows how many times? He got to go to the driving range with Tammy's brother-in-law one evening in which he had a blast. We went to see the Fantastic Four when it first came out because the both of us are big Marvel fans, not from the magazines though, from the cartoons. Other than that, we chilled out a lot and I showed him the sights of course around St. John's. Tiffany and him got along and my brother even told me I was not to let this one go. Smiles all around. On the same topic of my bro though, a week later when he went back to Labrador, he was in a serious car accident on the Trans Labrador Highway. He was in Labrador City Hospital and Quebec City Hospital the same weekend where he was badly beat up. Pretty much, he had to get surgery done on his ear, he had cuts and bruises all over, he got a fracture rib, and during the time a puncture lung. However, he pulled through the whole ordeal and now is home doing a lot better and probably still recovering. Also this month, I had a friend moved in for 10 days, in which she is still here tell mid-way this week because she need a place for her and her friend Diana to stay, where she got into a fight with her old roomie/landlord over something that shouldn't even been done in the first place. However, that is Shannon's business and I hated seeing a good friend down, so I asked Tammy to see if she could move in for a bit. Great having her around though, cheesecake and cookies, can't go wrong with that. During her stay here, a good friend of mine from Acadia Geology was down for a couple of days for work and it was his first time in Newfoundland. His name is Jay and I honestly don't think we stopped the whole weekend. Showed him the sights and stuff as well and then took the boy to George Street Festival. It was a crazy time that night for sure.
Then comes the past weekend in which deserves its own paragraph because it was the best weekend of the summer I had. Friday, Tiffany and I went on a road trip to her home town of Grand Bank because there was a festival going on called Grand Bank Day. I wonder why Churchill Falls, don't have a Churchill Falls Day because it's seems like every community in this region has one? I think it's just an excuse to be able to drink on the streets, hahaha... So on Friday, when we got there, I got a little tour of the place and got to meet some of her family members as well. I didn't say much because I was too shy of course. We also went sight seeing until it was dark. That night we had Sharon's cheescake and it was really, really good stuff and also had Audrey's French fries/Wedges with Gravey and Dressing and that good shit as well. That night we stayed home and relaxed and played some board games, in which I lost every game. I'll be a man and admit to the losts. Saturday, we slept in until noon and I think it was the first time we ever slept that long. After we woke up, we went to Sharon's again and had the amazing club sandwiches that they make there, with a pasta salad. Guess what I had for desert? Cheesecake again. After we had something to eat, we decided to take a trip around what's called the "boot". It's basically the trip around the whole Burin Peninsula. Went to a miner's museum in St. Lawrence and went to a place called Chambers Cover and it was really foggy out there, but lots of fun. Saturday, was also Grand Bank Day, so when we got back from the trip, we went to Tiffany's friend Jilly's boyfriend place. Confused? It was a good time for sure and then went to the water front and Jason Greely was playing. Whoever does not know who he is, keep it that way, hahaha... Yesterday morning, we got up and had some breakfast at Sharon's and you guesses it, I had more cheescake. Hmmmmm... We then went to Fortune Head Ecological Reserve where supposively there are fossils all over the place, but I did not find any. I could of taken out the big guns, but decided to leave the cliff in tact for once in my life. We went to one of Tiffany's nans for dinner and then came back to St. John's to end off am amazing weekend.
As you can tell, Tiffany and I are still going strong and I think I did a lot of smiling over the weekend, but I guess you would have to ask her to confirm that. As times goes on, it seems like things are just getting better and better with us and I really hope it stays that way. I don't need to comment in how amazing she is because you heard it all before.
I will post pictures on my MSN Space later as well.

I'M CRAZY, I KNOW.....
So since the last posting, not much has changed really. I still find myself very happy with my life and ofcourse a lot of it has to do who I am with. She certainly knows how to make me smile in so many ways, I never thought possible. This is just an example how great she is, she works two jobs and still able to find time for me and that is greatly appreciated. I probably won't see her much outside of work this week, but when it is all over, I just want one long relaxing day to rejuvinate and the weather better be nice this time. So yeah, things are still going great with us and sometimes I wonder if I deserve her still, but my horoscope told me to stop worrying about the past and accept things in how they are right now. I might have to take that advice.
Other than work and my relationship, not much has been on the go. I really love living here with Tammy though and having her sister, with her husband and baby around has been lots of fun. Past Thursday was Tammy's and Tara's (LeRiche Twins) b-da y and we went out for supper which the place had great food and then Tammy, Jason (her boyfriend), Tiffany and myself went to Dooley's to play pool. At first Tammy and Jason was kicking our asses, but after a few pitchers of beer in me, I was doing alright, except for that one time I sunk the eight ball thinking I had all our balls in already. Fun times for sure and the night will certainly never be forgotten :D. Having the baby around is also fun and I enjoy kids, except for the fact of changing dypers, hahaha... Not going to be me.
That's it, wait tell next time... Just hope I make it through through the week...

A Possible All-Nighter
So now I am trying to think what interesting things happened... Work is going alright as usual, just a few comfortable at work with a co-worker, I am sure that's nothing new. I try not to let work bother me to much and tonight even when I was in the kitchen speaking to the LeRiche Twins about work, Tara noticed that irate customers doesn't phase me much, just in the fact that I like making them more pissed at times, hehehe..... For example, I had this caller tonight that had no dial tone on her phone service and it was due to her not paying her cable bill, so I was unable to further assist her with her issue. She flipped out and at the end of the call she was like "see you in court" and hung up the phone. I just sat there and laughed in my chair. I have to make my job fun, or I would go crazy though, so I am just up to my old ways of course.
The past Thursday night, a large crew from work went over to Breaker's (a pool hall) and played a bit of pool and got drunk. I only had two drinks because I was driving, but it was still a great time. The only thing I wish was really to have my old pool skills back from the days I was Acadia Champion for two years and my residence champion, but those were the days I did not do so well in school, I wonder why ;). Tiffany was loaded, but how can you blame her, specially when drinks are cheap. Then Friday came around, and after work I went downtown with Tiffany and two of her friends to O'Reiley's where the Navigators were playing. I love that band, lots of fun times already drinking and dancing to them with Tiffany, never a dull moment, that's for sure.
However, before meeting up with Tiffany, I went to Jill's (the crazy one) and picked up my late b-day present which was a case of Kokanee beer. I told her before that she could get rid of it and that I don't want to see her outside of work because I think.....As Amy would say.....She's a nut bar. She also wanted me to stay and have one beer with her before leaving, but I didn't, I just grabbed the beer and left. I felt really bad because Tiffany was really worried, but I would never do anything to hurt that girl. I think she knows it now.
Saturday, Tiffany had to work at her other job, so I spent most of the day relaxing. I went to the mall and bought some more Randy River clothing and the second part of Rachet and Clank - Going Commando and I think I'll be pulling off an all-nighter tonight playing it. After she got off work, we went to my friend's place from Churchill Falls and she got to meet a room full of Labradorians. Hope she didn't get to scared. Sunday, was an other relaxing day and we went to see Batman - The Beginning, which I liked a lot. I think one of the best bbq's I ever had was that night also after the movie and I still think I can taste it in my mouth.
So that's it for now. Not only do I have a great girlfriend at the moment, but I realized that I have an amazing best friend as well through Tiffany.

No Voice
So my weekend was certainly an other eventfull one. Saturday at work was probably one of the busiest Saturdays I ever worked. When I got there, R&M was slammed in "Q" and I had to log in the phones as soon as possible. We were in that "Q" for almost over an hour actually. However, after my first break they put me back in Care, which was great and the rest of the day at work was slow. After work is when the fun began though because I went to Jeff's party (a friend of Tiff's) and had an other blast. I don't know what I like more, house parties or going downtown. It's a toss up, that's for sure. So it was a fun time and more drunken pictures, some involving a viking suit and sword, hahaha... If you want to see them, I have them posted on "My Space" (http://spaces.msn.com/members/rocdoc), which you can also access through the new Meesenger as well. Fun Times for sure.
So it has been over a month now since Tiffany and I started dating and technically when June 15 comes around, it would be exactly a month officially. I have nothing but great things to say about this girl and before Sunday I honestly thought I didn't deserve her at alll. However, after thinking about it a lot and from the things that Tiff says to me, I feel that we deserve each other. It justs seems like the time we spend together is great and there is not one time when I have been with her I couldn't smile. However, instead of going on and on about her, you just have to meet the girl and see for yourself in what I see.
Now for the suprise ending of this posting. I never had chocolate in a week now. See my friend at work Shannon decided that she was going to give up chocolate for a month and I decided to see if I could resist the temptation also. It's not easy, but I am doing good so far. Well, Shannon, if you read this blog at all, we're going out for some Chocolate Eruption Cheesecake when this is all over. I read one of your friends comments to that posting and if you decide giving up beer, you are on your own, hahaha.....
Time to finish the soup.

Can't Sleep
It's rare to see me in a down mood, so here are some highlights of the day or since my last posting was posted. This week at work, I chose to go with R&M permanently because to avoid a certain crazy person and Candice, the Team Leader really wanted me to join because of my personality and stats. Some people think I am nuts, but I am not, honestly, hehehe... I do feel great about myself lately though, specially when someone keeps calling me wicked and amazing. I think it's her that is bringing the best out of me though because I am just being myself. Yeah Tiffany, you are great yourself. She came up to the Geo Center with me the other day and I bought rocks of course and I bought her a piece of Labradorite also. I was like a kid in a candy shop that morning and if I had enough money, I would own that gift shop. Also, she did beat me at Trivia Pursuit last night and Tammy did also, so instead of saying women rule and men drool, I want a re-match, hahaha...
Tomorrow night I am going to Tiffany's friend Jeff's party after work and that should be lots of fun. Actually, majority of my time with Tiffany has been a blast anyways.
That's it for now, peace out

Finally Got This To Work
I guess I am going to start new and just start from the present. Life in St. John's has certainly changed since I moved into this new place in VP (Virginia Park, one of the "hoods"). I have a great roomie Tammy, which works with me, and we get along great. We have a shit load in common so it's living with each other, plus we have an other roomie named Ang that I am started to wonder about. I just wonder if she has a clue, if not, still loads of fun to make fun of. So I am very happy where I am at right now and it's nice to come home and not hide in my room. Work has changed also, I am now trained for more than one project and soon I will be trained for a third. When late August comes around, I would of been there for a year, that's craziness. Who would of ever though Corey would work in a call center? First of all, my family and friends has a hard enough time understanding me, hahaha... I don't let work stress me at all, it is not worth it and if I get an angry American customer, I just put them on mute and laugh at them because I lost all respect for all American's now, sorry Steve. Plus I made a lot of cool friends at Convergys and most of us have degrees, weird eh?
Other than that, my life has been great because it has been non-stop. Probably one of the main reasons that I got this amazing girlfriend named Tiffany. Just today we spent the morning together and had this great breakfast and then she joined me shopping for my father's day gift and brother's bday gift becuase they are on the same day this year. Then we went to play glow in the dark min-golf and that was loads of fun and I won by 11 I think, hehehe... Last night we even went for a walk around the park and it was beautiful out and on the way back to her place, we had a crazy cat following us. We even made a dash to the door. Other than that we have been keeping busy with a lot of stuff. We went on a few dirves together and did some sight seeing around this area. Topsail Beach and Middle Cove Beach are certainly nice places. We have been downtown many times drinking pints and dancing ofcourse. We have been to a few house parties as well and I guess I am part of the crew now according to our friend Shannon and I now have a hook up for Randy River, SWEETNESS!!!!! Went for a walk in the park with her dog. Basically we hang out when we get the chance to, other than work. I am very happy though, can't stop smiling.
Not much other exciting news in my life at the moment, oh wait, Pearl Jam tickets just came in the mail, WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP!!!!! My brother is coming to visit sometine in the next few months and one of my closest friends Karma just told me she is coming down for a weekend also. So many things to look foward to this summer and I still have lots of time to spend with a special someone.
GOT THE LUCKY PENNY!!!
