On My Own

Like the title says: "I am on my own".

However, before I go on about that, I will have to clarify that statement above because there was a little confusion in when telling a few other friends, thinking I was single again, but that's not the case. I really hope that is not the case ever again to be honest with you because things are going so great with Tiffany and I right now and I now live on the street right down from her.

So the whole meaning of the statment above is that I just moved into my own, one bedroom apartment. It is a basement apartment, but leads out to the level of the backyard and each room has windows, so I have a lot of light coming through if needed. I am paying 420.00 per month, with partial heat included (if the oil furnace is on upstairs, I will get some of that heat as well), hot water, cable, and I got internet as well (the nice landlord upstairs allowed me to hook up my wireless router to the internet). So as you can imagine, I can't complain about that too much. Actually I can complain about that at all. So I just finished cleaning up everything and organizing on Monday and just loving the feeling that I have my own privacy and not being secluded to my room 24/7. I know some of you guys will be wondering why I moved out from Tammy's house, specially when things were going so great, until August came around. Well, one Thursday night, I came home to this letter, which was really three pages of rules I would have to follow if I continually lived in her house and the second that I read that, Tammy and I never said a word to each other. So I was living in her home for a whole month, without her saying a single word to me and I never felt welcome, so I after discussing it with the folks, I decided to look for a place on my own. Tammy is a good person and all, but I didn't want to have a second mother and not even my own Mudder would have done that to me, so I had no other choice, but leave. Tammy might have other thoughts about that, but it's over now and life goes on.

I will also comment on the Great Labour Day Long Weekend I had. Saturday afternoon, my friend Shannon, Tiffany, and I went to take a drive to Mahers (which sounds like "Mars") to meet up with Ken and Andrea, to go camping on Fatty's land in that area. It was a beautiful spot, with lots of nature around and couldn't ask for better weather. It was chilly at nights, but if you seen my arms and face, it was super hot in the days where I am burnt to a crisp and a little sore because of it. Oh well, my fault for not wearing sunblock. So Saturday, Ken, Andrea, Shannon, Tiffany, Myself, Brewer, and Ally stayed the night and we had a great fire and self-made bbq as well. It was the first time I had corn done on te bbq and it is highly recommended it because it tasted great and the potatoes, onion/mushrooms, and caribou also tasted great. You can tell, we had a feed. So the next morning, Brewer and Ally left because Brewer had to work unfortunately and couldn't call in sick because he told his boss he was going camping te night before. Shannon, Tiffany, and I took a trip to Whitbourne and to find out nothing is open on Sundays, so we wended up going to the gas station for more supplies. After we got back, Ken and Andrea went for a few hours on quad and I relaxed infront of the lake, trying to get pictures of the loon there. The loon was huge and when I got back, Shannon was sleep in the tent and Tiffany was just relaxing infront of the fire wondering where I went. So that night, we had an other feed of bbq chicken, honey galrlic noodles, and garlic bread. Just say, we don't go hungry when we camp. That night it was also great, we all sat around the fire and at one point, Ken wanted to play the "Window Game". I sucked ass at it, so Ken kicked me out of the window because I do not know any nursery rhymes. It was fun though and Ken and I played with sticks that was caught on fire, where Andrea got some awesome pics of as well. I can't wait to see them. When Monday came around, the summer came to an end and Ken and Adrea wenth their seperate ways, back to Placentia and us back to St. John's. So the camping gear is packed away, until next summer. I have to say though, it definitely got used over this summer, with 4 camping trips in total and I loved it all. Even though summer is technically not over, we ended it with a great time, with good friends.

I was going to end this posting with a little bit about work as well, but why ruin a good thing. That's it for now. Peace Out!!!
